Welcome! And please excuse the whimsical self-portrait : ) I am an Australian guy living in the state of Tasmania. I was introduced to photography in 2007 by a work colleague in Saudi Arabia. He very generously advised me on buying gear, and taught me a lot of important basic stuff about shooting and post-processing. On my part, I have since then put myself pretty intensively to the task of lifting my knowledge and my technical skills, and finding how to see what interests me in a way that will make an interesting photograph. I have a Canon 40D, and a range of Canon L lenses, along with various accessories.
I am building a collection of photographs here that I hope you will enjoy. The best way to view them is to press f11 on your keyboard for full screen mode. If you click on an image in a gallery (or click on Dim The Lights in the rollover menu) the image will be enlarged to the maximum to fit your screen size. You will need to have the latest version of Flash installed for my site to show correctly.
Soon you will be able to buy the original photo file of any photo you like to download and own, to view digitally, or print to your own satisfaction. Later, I will provide a printing service which you can use to order prints to your specifications and have them sent to you.
This is a beginning. I am happy to share with you the challenge and excitement of improving the quality and attractiveness of my images as this site evolves. I hope you will keep looking back for new added photos and services!
